did the nwo make wcw or kill it?

I know NWO was considered one of the most popular factions of al ltime and the reason that WCW was all so popular, and has been credited for their 82 week rating win, but I think in the long run, NWO killed WCW.

If you think about it, every single factor in that show focused around them. No young guys had a chance to go anywhere, as highlighted in Eddie Guerrero and Chris Jericho's book. Everything was NWO, and I tihnk from the very start they tried to run things like that, they were doomed. Especially when they gave Hogan, Hall and Nash creative control. I really think, Bischoff though that these guys alone could take down WWF, and I really think Bischoff was crazy wrong and that's how the WWF surpassed them. In Bischoff's book, he later talks about how it may not have been the greatest idea, but I think it was one of the worst, even though the faction was uber popular. What do you guys think?

nwo had a helping hand along with russo wwe wcw losing money ted turner

nwo didnts nwo is what keep wcw going but in march of 2000 when wcw brought in vince russo he pretty much killed it

wcw lost the war because they spent way to much money trying to keep guys from going to wwe

and they hired vince russo

nwo was one of the best story lines ever

vince russo joined wcw while they where going down hill

I say they killed it because they blocked 90% of the young guys from being in the main event, or even gaining a little popularity.

the nwo did not kill wcw the nwo is the reason why wcw rattings where up and why they beat wwe 84 weeks in a role in the rattings.

Bad booking by russo killed wcw. The finger poke of doom helped kill it.The beginning of the death of WCW started at the end of Hogan vs Sting fued. It was in the making for a year and had a terrible finish and that was the beginning of wcw's downfall.
